This originally flat roof house in a dated modern style backing on a golf course was transformed into a traditional-looking Georgian style mansion with updated facilities. The original stucco exterior building finishes are replaced with custom design stone features, bricks, and metal railings to complete the new ‘old world’ look.
Radiant heat is installed to the entire entrance drop-off and driveway area and the full basement level for snow melting and comfort in the winter. Walk-out balconies are created on the second floor to take full advantage of the backyard gold course views. The whole house is replaced with high performance wood windows and exterior walls are replaced with new insulation to improve exterior building envelope energy performance for long term comfort and energy savings.
